Relatives of a young boy who received life-threatening wounds after being hurled from the tenth level of the art gallery have revealed their "courageous fighter" has achieved his goal of being able to jump, swim, and run again.

The young youngster was six years old when he was thrown from a railing by a teenager, at that time 17 years old.

The boy, who was on holiday with his family in August 2019 when attacked, endured a 100ft plunge but suffered life-changing wounds, such as a bleed on the brain and broken bones.

Relatives shared in an news on a crowdfunding site, they were pleased that he had been able to progress with his running, jumping and swimming before his forthcoming operation.

"He doesn't do it similar to kids his age, of course, but we are unable to portray what he does in different terms than by terming it's jumping, swimming, and running."
